As President of the UEC, I was informed about the revival of the “ΔΕΗ International Tour of Hellas”, which will take place after a 10-year hiatus. The organization of an international race of 2.1 category, will be a great boost to the racing cycling in Hellas and will attract prominent athletes and teams of the highest level.

It will be anideal opportunity to combine and promote the natural beauty and culture of your country, revealing the long history of Hellas. I was also pleased with the planning of the side events for young cyclists, that will take place before and after each stage, such as the “Youth Days”.

It is a great opportunity to detect the new generation of cyclists, by attracting youngsters from all over the country. Finally, after sharing these thoughts with you, I address my most sincere greetings and I wish you good luck in the “ΔΕΗ International Tour of Hellas 2022”.
