I am pleased to announce the revival of the “ΔΕΗ International Tour of Hellas”, that we haven’t organized since 2011. We believed that is was the right time to make our dream come true, hosting, to our country, 140 stars of cycling from 20 professional and national teams.

The stages will start from Crete, will continue to the mainland and will finish in Ioannina. The cyclists will be competing in separate stages that highlight the natural beauty and the great cultural heritage of our country.

The detailed program of the route will be announced soon, following the cooperation with the local authorities. During the “ΔΕΗ International Tour of Hellas”, a series of side events will be organized before and throughout the stages, by which we aspire to highlight the multiple benefits of cycling, in order to familiarize more citizens with cycling, and also to set out messages for safer driving in the cities.

The Government and the Ministry of Sports is paying attention to cycling. We consider cycling to be a sport with benefits in both social and environmental aspects.
