In regards with the state of health of Bolton Equities Black Spoke Pro Cycling rider, Mark Stewart who crushed a few metres before the finish line of stage 3 of the ΔΕΗ International Tour of Hellas, the LOC would like to announce that Mr. Stewart was taken to the Hospital of the city of Karditsa.

He underwent all the necessary examinations, in the presence of the doctors of the race and the hospital’s doctors diagnosed a small fracture in his ribs. After receiving all the necessary medical care, Mr. Stewart returned to the team’s hotel.

According to the team's team manager, the Briton will test tomorrow morning whether he is able to continue in the Tour or not.

General classification leader, Aaron Gate, who was also involved in the incident, has not suffered any serious injury and thus will defend the blue jersey in tomorrow’s stage.
