ΔΕΗ Cycling Tour of Greece wins its first prize!

Tommaso Pelagali, the Italian photographer of the international photography agency Bettini, who visited Greece last April to cover the revival of ΔΕΗ Cycling Tour, won the first «Fair Play» photography award "Momenti di Sport", awarded for the photo he took during the 4rth stage in the city of Larissa.
Tommaso Pelagali would like to send through his snapshot the message, that "all the athletes may be rivals during the race but at the same time they are fellow travelers in the same trip".
Deputy Minister of Sports, Lefteris Avgenakis, the mastermind behind the revival of the Tour, commented: "It is the first international prize awarded to the ΔΕΗ Cycling Tour of Greece courtesy of the excellent work of Tommaso Pelagali and his Photo Agency. There is no doubt that the organisation of major sporting events reinforces the role of the country as a leading power in the international sports industry".
