The Region of Sterea Ellada will be in the spotlight during the fourth stage of the ΔΕΗ International Tour of Hellas 2024, which is the largest in length in this year's event. The stage starts in Spercheiada and ends in Chalkida.

After yesterday's impressive queen stage and the great battle amongst the general classification jersey contenders, the ΔΕΗ International Tour of Hellas 2024 resumes with the 4th stage, the longest in length of this year's event. The peloton will cover 196.53 kilometers, exclusively in the Region of Sterea Ellada in Centra Greece, starting in Spercheiada and ending in Chalkida.

The riders will start at 12.30 pm from Spercheiada at the Prefecture of Fthiotida and will then pass by Lamia where the first intermediate sprint is placed (km 27.9). After tackling the cat. 2 climb (km 49.8) at Hani Karanassiou, the peloton will head south and enter Viotia, passing the Prefecture’s two largest cities, Livadia and Thebes, where the next two intermediate sprints (km 117.2 and km 161.9) have been placed.

After Thebes they will once again change direction, heading towards the northeast to Chalkida, with the small cat. 3 climb at Prophet Ilias (km 187.6) placed just 9 kilometres far from the finish line. The stage’s finale is located on the city's old bridge, next to the Euripus Strait. Fans should expect a classic battle between the breakaway group and the sprinters. Another mass sprint will most likely decide the final outcome.
