For the first time ever two World Tour teams to compete in the ΔΕΗ Tour of Hellas

This year's ΔΕΗ Tour of Hellas returns with a brand-new route and, for the first time, with two UCI World Tour teams in the line-up.

The World Tour teams that have agreed to be at the starting line on April 2, 2025, are Kazakhstan’s XDS Astana and USA’s Jayco AlUla. Their presence is significantly raising the level of competition.

In total, 20 teams will race in the 2025 ΔΕΗ Tour of Hellas: 2 World Tour, 4 Pro Tour, 12 Continental, and 2 National teams.

The 21st edition of the ΔΕΗ Tour of Hellas, featuring a newly designed route, returns to this year’s cycling calendar.

Starting on April 2, five breathtaking stages are expected to mesmerise cycling fans in Greece and worldwide. Riders from 20 registered teams will follow the path from Patras to Athens and finish in the emblematic Panathenaic Stadium on April 6.

An experienced team, full of titles in major competitions. In its technical staff we meet the renowned Greek coach Vassilis Anastopoulos. They scored 12 victories, of them a pair by Mark Cavendish, one the greatest riders of all time. The Briton won stage 2 of the Tour of Hungary (2. Pro) and stage 5 of the famous Tour of France (2. UWT). In 2024 they celebrated twelve victories, two of them achieved by Cavendish.
This year XDS Astana made a number of important signings such as those of Diego Ulissi, Wout Poels and Aaron Gate, winner of the ΔΕΗ Tour Of Helals in 2022.

Australia's largest professional team with millions of fans around the world. They celebrated 25 wins. The most notable were, stage 6 of the Tour de France (1.UWT) with Dutchman Dylan Groenewegen, the Grand Prix of Quebec (1.UWT) with Australian Michael Matthews, and stages 11 and 20 of the Tour of Spain (2.UWT) with Irishman Eddie Dunbar. Other strong performances included stage 2 victory at the Tour of Burgos in Spain (2. Pro) with Australian Caleb Ewan, stage 1 of the Tour of Slovenia (2. Pro) with Dutchman Dylan Groenewegen, stage 2 of the Tour of the Alps of Italy (2.Pro) with British Simon Yates and stage 1 of the Tour of Oman (2.Pro) with Ewan.
